When it rains it pours...

It is our last day in Madrid and the weather is not really cooperating. It is cold and raining and for the life of me I can not think of why I didnt bring my new warm winter jacket from Germany. Stupid, stupid Ashley...
Last night we bar hopped for a little while sampling the fine sangria and beer of Madrid. We ended up in a small jazz club that had a really great band playing. While we were there I zeroed in on two guys speaking English (John and Jeff from Iowa) and we spent the rest of the evening hanging out with them. Sometimes it is just nice to be able to have a conversation with people who speak your language because my spanish is really really bad. We then ran into some people from our hostel and went over to a club. I actually got Marianne into a club without the help of alcohol. I seriously didn´t think that was possible. After a few short songs we headed back to the hostel and off to bed. Nothing too exciting to report but at least we sampled some of Madrid´s famous nightlife.
