Ashley's Trips

This blog initially began as a way for me to share my backpacking adventures through Europe with my friends and family back home. It continues to document my new adventures even though I have returned...

Back to Nenagh, Ireland

After we left New Grange, Crystal and I drove across Ireland to Galway. This was fairly uneventful other than an interesting hour of trying to find our hostel that resulted in the purchase of the most expensive map in Galway only to find out that the hostel was around the corner from where we were. Oh, and I also managed to "navigate" us onto a pedestrian only street in the middle of town. Hee hee! We all make mistakes, right?
So after we spent the night in Galway there was no place to go but home again home again jiggity jig. Back to Nenagh and Emma's family to rest up for our flight back to Germany the following morning.

This is Jenny, Emma's sister. She is holding her new bunny that her boyfriend Tom gave her while we were visiting. Not sure what she decided to name it but the little furball sure was cute.

We went out for one last pint of Guinness before heading back home and this is where we met Milo. Milo is said to have been one of the finest flute players in the city when he was younger. He still carries a flute in his coat pocket and we were able to persuade him to play. All I can say is, unbelievable.
