We celebrated Ick Ick's birthday after the concert. It was his Rhine-Fire (my spelling is completely wrong on that by the way). It means his birthday started at midnight and it is traditional to celebrate the night before. Champagne and shots of Sambuca were ordered all around.

Paul Weller Who?

The night of Oct 20th a group of us went to see Paul Weller in concert. Paul Who you ask? Paul Weller is a singer from the UK. He is apparently very popular in Europe and the show was pretty good.

Mullets are everywhere in Germany; men and women alike have them. I took a picture of this guys just to prove it. When did these come back into style?

Kevin made me keep the plastic glasses that our Hefeweissen came in so that we could have more cups at the house. We did a fine job of drinking beer at the show.

At one point I ordered our beer in German at the concert and the bartender said, "That will be €8 please" in a very loud voice. I thought my German sounded pretty good but apparently I look like I speak English better...

I hadn't been bowling in ages so the boys and I decided to go out for a night of fun on the lanes. Here is Jack, Stephen, Kevin and Marsel (Ick Ick) playing with their balls.
